KI BOIS Community Action Foundation

    KI BOIS Community Action Foundation, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation organized to eliminate the causes of poverty and improve the quality of life for persons residing in Haskell, Latimer, LeFlore, and Pittsburg counties in Southeastern Oklahoma.

    Since our beginnings in 1968, countless numbers of lives have been touched through the many services offered by KI BOIS Community Action.  KI BOIS Community Action is administered by a twenty-four member Board of Directors, an Executive Director/CEO, Associate Director/CFO, Director of Operations and Program Directors and Coordinators.  Outreach offices are located throughout the four county service area of KI BOIS Community Action.

General Information

    KI BOIS Community Action Foundation serves counties - Latimer, LeFlore, Haskell, and Pittsburg.  Covering 4,134 square miles, the total population of the four counties is 110,600 persons.  Of this total, 19,393 are below poverty income guidelines.  KI BOIS Community Action provides employment for over 950 people in the four county area and has an annual payroll of over $12 million and a total budget of $28 million dollars, making KI BOIS one of the largest employers in Southeastern Oklahoma.
